Tabbrella privacy policy

Last updated: 2026-11-01

Who we are

Tabbrella is a free Chrome extension made by the team behind DealRewind, a service run from the Netherlands. Privacy questions: [email protected].

What Tabbrella stores

The addresses (URLs) and titles of your open tabs, your windows and tab groups (name, color), and the sessions and window names you save. This is needed to save and restore your tabs.

Where it is stored

Only on your own computer, inside your browser's storage for this extension. If you turn on daily backups, a backup file is written to your Downloads folder. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else: Tabbrella makes no network requests at all.

What we don't do

No account, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no selling or sharing of data. We cannot see your tabs.

Why Chrome warns about browsing history

To save your tabs Tabbrella has to read their addresses and titles, so Chrome shows the warning "Read your browsing history" when you install it. That information never leaves your computer.

Your control

You can export everything to a file, delete saved sessions, or remove all data by uninstalling the extension.
